Cookie Fundraiser for Haiti
Faith Kates, founder and co-president of Next, has three amazing kids that are on a mission to help kids in Haiti.
Here is the write-up from today's New York Post:
Faith Kates of Next Models, who handles Molly Sims and Petra Nemcova, has joined the effort to help Haiti. "So my kids woke up this morning and decided that they couldn't sit around and not help the kids of Haiti," Kates e-mailed friends. "They woke me up all excited with a sign reading, 'Kids Helping Kids.' I was floored. So what's a mother to do when they want to go outside and set up a stand to sell cookies? I explained to them that it was way too cold . . . so they suggested I sell them online (so modern). I am not exactly sure how this will work." Proceeds will go to Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti charity.
So far, they have raised over $10,000!
To donate to the cause, please send checks made out to "Yele Haiti" to Next: 15 Watts Street, 6th Floor, NY, NY 10013 to the attention of "Cookie Fundraiser."
