Tara Reid born November 8, 1975 is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the films The Big Lebowski (1998), American Pie (1999), American Pie 2 (2001), National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), My Boss's Daughter (2003), and Alone in the Dark (2005).

Reid was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the daughter of Donna and Tom Reid, both of whom are teachers and day care center owners. She attended Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School, then went to Ramapo High School and graduated while attending Barnstable Academy, a performing arts-centric school. Both high schools were in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey (Barnstable is now in Oakland, N.J.).

She has a younger sister, Colleen, and two brothers, Tom and Patrick (who is a twin of Colleen). Reid grew up in New Jersey.

Tara Reid: Another Bikini Moment

Enjoying what was a warm October afternoon in Miami, Tara Reid opted to offer up another bikini moment - taking a quick walk by the beach with a bright green bathing suit.

Followed by paparazzi, the "Taradise" starlet looked focused as she walked along, momentarily stopping for a laugh before flip-flopping along on her way.

And according to FOX Pop Tarts' Hollie McKay, Miss Reid may want to update herself of the goings on in Hollywood- apparently she thinks that the writers' strike is still going on!

Tara told Tarts last week, "I totally plan to go back into acting once the strike stops. The economy is so bad right now that people are afraid to put money back into acting. Even the shows that seem new, they really shot six months ago. So when it's all back up again, I will go back into it. That's my heart."

In the meantime, Reid has been working on her clothing line. "I have a clothing line coming out called Mantra by Tara Reid. It's like the book 'The Secret' — the whole line is about colors. Red means love, blue means love, white is peace, black means protection. So when you wear these colors, you might attract love, or green, you'll get lucky tonight. You put the energy out there, that's what the line is all about."
